The Transport Manager CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is an essential qualification demonstrating that individuals hold the legal and operational skills needed for transporting goods (HGV) or passengers (PCV).
The course covers transport law, driver compliance, safety, costings and more, and possessing it is a legal requirement for holding an operator’s licence.
Applicants for an O licence must show they are either ‘professionally competent’ or that they employ a transport manager who meets the requirements.

Transport Manager CPC
Our Transport Manager CPC course has one of the highest pass rates in the UK and can be studied either in the classroom or as online learning.
On this course, candidates will gain an understanding of how to successfully manage a transportation business and the specific legal obligations involved in operating large vehicles.
It’s suitable for operators of HGVs, vans and coaches, caters to all fleet sizes, and offers flexible learning options to suit individuals or the needs of your business.
Classroom courses
A 10-day classroom-based course plus examinations, held 2 to 4 days per week over a 4-to-5-week period.

Online courses
Our virtual classroom sessions are ideal for candidates unable to attend a 10-day training course due to other commitments.

Transport Manager CPC Refresher
Transport managers are encouraged to refresh their knowledge every five years to stay up to date with latest industry developments and changes in compliance.
This course will allow participants to update their knowledge using a combination of practical problem solving and compliance-based scenarios and will build on skills gained from the original Transport Manager CPC qualification.
